2021 Coulee Conference Meet
Host School: Westby
Location: Ken Trott Memorial Fields on Westby High School Middle School Campus.
Date: Saturday, October 16th 2021
Participating Schools: Arcadia, Black River Falls, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, Onalaska Luther, Viroqua, Westby, and West Salem
9:00 AM Course opens for inspection.
10:00 AM Coaches Meeting at tent next to the finish line.
10:30 AM National Anthem.
10:45 AM Coulee Conference Boys Race.
11:30 AM Coulee Conference Girls Race.
12:15 PM Awards Ceremony area immediately north of Finish Line
Course map: (Attached for your inspection. We also have a video posted on our team website https://westbycc.weebly.com/.) Maps will be provided in your team packet. General speaking, our course is a two looped course which is entirely made up of grass and so spikes are advised. The course will be marked with a double white line with an interior flagged boundary on several key corners.
Lane Assignments: I have 22 boxes prepared for next week’s sectional race; therefore, each team will have three adjoining boxes at the start of our Conference race.

Jury of Appeals: Tim Lee (Meet Official), Brian Huebner (Meet Manager), Scott Benzing (Viroqua Head Coach) and Justin Stakston (West Salem Head Coach).
Timing: Accurace timing will be timing our meet. Bib numbers will be assigned and should be pinned to front of the athletes’ jerseys. Registration will be done through MileSplit (milesplit.com). Deadline is noon on Friday, October 15th.
Team Tents: All team camps and tents should be located on the practice football field south of the finish line. There will be access to a porta john as well as trash cans in this area for participants convenience. We will also have a single porta john at the starting line.
Bus Parking: In previous events we have hosted this year, a very efficient means of getting you packets and information is for your team bus to drop off your athletes in our bus garage lot at 206 West Avenue North. You will be met by a school representative with your packet once you arrive, and this will give your athletes the closest access to restrooms. Your bus will be asked to park in our track and football field lot which is easily accessible from this arrival point.
Concessions: Our FCCLA will be serving concessions in an open- sided building just to the north of the finish line. Please enjoy some of the best food around served by our wonderful FCCLA.
T-shirts: I have attached a t-shirt design. I am hoping as coaches you could ask your athletes if they would be interested in a standard white t-shirt with design seen in attachment. Cost would be $20 per shirt; (athletes can pay day of the event). If you could also record a general count on sizes: Adult small, medium, and large and send that number to me by Friday, Oct. 7th by 12:00, I will have these shirts available in the concession stand for athletes on Conference Saturday.
